เป็นเรื่องราวของ 2 พี่น้องแห่งมหาสมุทร “มาริน” และ “อุริน” พวกเธอทั้งสองโหยหาโลกเหนือพื้นน้ำวันหนึ่งมีแหวนตกลงมาในท้องทะเล มารินและอุรินเก็บได้ ตั้งใจจะเอาไปคืนพวกเธอได้ขึ้นเหนือท้องน้ำเพื่อตามหาเจ้าของแหวนวงนี้แต่ทว่าพวกเธอไม่รู้เลยหลังจากที่พวกเธอกำลังตามหาเจ้าของแหวนวงนี้ได้บังเอิญพบกับเด็กสาวคนหนึ่งที่ชื่อว่า “คานอน” เข้า การพบกันระหว่างธิดาแห่งสมุทรอย่างมาริน และ ธิดาแห่งฟากฟ้าอย่างคานอนได้ปลุกพลังมืดมิดของโลกนี้ให้ตื่นขึ้นมาอีกครั้ง
